THE WINE CELLAR

Our wine cellar isn't really in the cellar, but the space it occupies reminds everyone of one.  FEZZIWIG'S wine selection is a hand-selected variety of wonderful wines from around the world. Our domestic wines are primarily from California, Oregon and Washington.

Our international wines include wines from the Southern Hemisphere (Argentina, Australia, Chile, New Zealand and South Africa) and Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain).

Our focus on wine from the onset was to offer wines that we consider to be a great wine at a value price. Our distributors know we are not interested in selling wine normally found in big box discount stores, supermarkets or convenience stores.  We're not wine snobs, we just think you deserve better.  

Before a wine is added to FEZZIWIG'S selections they are first tasted by our "chief wine guide", Tim Moore, to ensure they meet or exceed FEZZIWIG'S criteria. We feel it is important to know our wines so we can make valued recommendations to our customers. Quite often our key associates will also be involved in the tasting effort so they know more about the wine and can be more helpful with our customers.

Wine ratings serve as a guide to buying great wines but they don't tell the whole story.  There is no shortage of magazines and e-zines that "review" wines and give them scores.  We don't get caught up in the wine scores because, not every wine is submitted to Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, Robert Parker, Stephen Tanzer or other reviewers for reviews.  That's why customers love to shop for wine at FEZZIWIG'S. We won't sell you a mediocre wine just to sell you a bottle of wine. We don't buy "bargain wines" from our distributors just so we can sell lots of wine.   That's not what we're about. 

We have friends in the wine business in the area and we'll direct you to them if you're looking for a wine we are out of or don't carry in-stock.  We'll even call them to try and locate a wine for you.  We just hope you'll keep shopping at Fezziwig's first!

We want you to enjoy your wine purchase so you come back to FEZZIWIG'S for all of your wine purchases. It's our preference to "hand sell" our wines rather than stack ‘em high and watch ‘em fly. You'll have a greater appreciation for the wine you're enjoying by knowing about the wine rather than just buying it because it's stacked high or has a "cute label". 

There are different ways to "test drive" our wines...one way is to attend our many wine tasting events.  Some of these are free but most aren't, but don't let that keep you away.  The paid events usually find our better wines being sampled, plus we offer you a special discount for participating in our wine tastings!  Or you can come in and buy a glass of wine to enjoy in our Dickens Room or Garden Courtyard.  Our wine list changes just about every two weeks.
