Packed House for Premier Tasting Event!
We were packed Thursday night, August 19th, for our first ever Taste & Tell! Over 125, and possibly more, customers came and sampled nearly 80 different prospective new gourmet items during the two-hour event. Customers took the time to complete our "ballots" rating the different items for possible inclusion in our fall product offerings. We apologize for the lines, but we couldn't turn anyone away. It got a bit warm inside with so many people, but we had free water and iced tea to keep you cooled down.
On behalf of the entire Fezziwig's team, thank you all for attending. We'll be announcing the new product additions in the coming weeks as they arrive. Hopefully, nobody left the event hungry!
Introduction to Tea/TEA 101 Course
If you haven't called and made reservations for our Introduction to Tea/TEA 101 course on Tuesday, August 24, hurry and call now! Seating is limited. Cost is $18 per person. Class begins promptly at 6:00pm and usually wraps up by 7:30pm.
You'll learn all about the different teas, their origins and their processes. It's always fun and very educational. The course is taught by our own Ellen Leaf-Moore, a Specialty Tea Institute Certified Tea Specialist and Educator.
Australian-New Zealand Wine School Sold Out!
If you love wines from down under or just want to learn about wines from Australia and New Zealand, you'll have to catch it the next time around. This class is sold out for this Thursday night, August 26.
This course is always one of our most popular and we're working on scheduling another one prior to the Holidays if time permits.
Tea-Coffee-Cocoa Opening September 1
While we currently serve tea (hot and iced), we will add coffee service beginning Wednesday morning, September 1. We're sampling different coffees and our equipment will be installed this week! We'll offer pastries in the mornings and desserts in the afternoons. If everything is ready sooner, we'll start sooner.
A Grand Opening celebration will most likely coincide with our third anniversary celebration on October 1st and Lebanon's 42nd Annual Fall Festival on the 2nd!
You'll be able to enjoy tea, coffee and cocoa right here...in our Charles Dickens Room
or in our peaceful Garden Courtyard. We will more than likely add some streetside tables in front of the shop, too.
We'll have The Wall Street Journal, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Belleville News-Democrat, Riverfront Times and even the Lebanon Advertiser available for you to enjoy while you're having your tea or coffee! We're also hoping to have our new flat screen television and Direct TV installed in time for you to enjoy the morning news.

We have selected Goshen Coffee Company as our exclusive coffee source. Goshen is the only 100% Organic Coffee Roaster in the St. Louis Market! Organic coffee is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment. Organic production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture. Third-party certification organizations verify that organic farmers abide by the law.
